FAQ

When lighting your candle, make sure that it is away from children and pets. Make sure to keep your candles away from drafts.

We always recomend that when you first light your candle, to let the wax melt all the way to the edges. By doing this, you are leaving a memory for the candle and it will burn evenly every time.

Before everytime you light your candle, make sure to trim the wick! Simply remove the charred part of the wood wick with your fingers or with a fancy wick cutter and voila! Your candle is ready to burn again.

Since wood wicks are natural, sometimes they have a hard time lighting.

First, make sure that the wick is trimmed about ⅛ .

Second, make sure that there is no charred pieces of the wick. That may be why your wick isn't lighting or staying lit.

If your candle is tunneling, there are a few things that you can do to fix it. So don't you worry!

1. Grab some tin foil and wrap it around your candle so that it's covering the top of the candle. Poke a hole in the middle of the tin foil and let your candle burn for a few hours (no more than 4). Remove the tin foil and the candle should burn perfectly!

2. You can use a candle melter lamp and melt the wax from the top! We don't usually recomend this because it takes away from the fun of our beautiful wood wicks BUT in this case we can let it slide.

We always recomend that when you FIRST light your candle, ALWAYS let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the vessel.

There is a very easy way that you can remove the leftover wax from your candle and get the most out of it!

Simply boil some water, pour some hot water into the candle and wait until the wax hardens!

You can remove the wax easily and then use the leftover wax as a wax melt!
